Many of you emailed to let me know you liked the playlist of cover versions I posted last month so I put together another one. Just more of the same -- R&B/Soul versions of classic songs you can sing along to. I suppose that, since they're all love songs, this is one for Valentine's Day as well. (For this reason I didn't include Nouvelle Vague's remake of Dead Kennedys' "Too Drunk To F**k" -- oh well, for another day, I guess.)

Hello It's Me - Groove Theory
(Sweetest) Tabou - Les Nubians
Lovin' You - Shanice
Could It Be I'm Falling In Love - S-Connection
Free/Sail On - Chanté Moore
If I Ever Lose This Heaven - Will Downing
Your Love Is King - Will Young
Until You Come Back To Me - Hil St. Soul
If This World Were Mine - Grenique & Tony Rich
Wishing On A Star - Maysa
Nice.
You should also listen to Paul Weller's version of Wishing on a Star. I figure you'd get a kick out of hearing a guy doing the pleading. :-D

Hi Jeg - Yes, I actually have heard it -- in fact I featured the exact song in my "Soundtrack" sideblog same time last year! And you're right -- I did get a kick out of hearing a guy do all that fervent pleading. :)

I kinda dig "Until You Come Back To Me". I have few versions from Basia, Katharine McPhee & Phil-Am's Camile Velasco.
Nice lists as always Gigi.
